Statement of Service

Betts Kids online aims to replicate our store experience via the internet.

We are committed to providing you great service and value for money products that Betts Kids is well known for.

If you have any problems, questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact us.

Betts Kids Website Requirements

The Betts website will function best on the following internet browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above;
  • Mozilla Firefox 1.6 and above;
  • Safari.

The Betts website is best viewed on a 1024 x 768 screen resolution

The latest flash player may required to view some elements of the Betts Kids website. This can be installed from Adobe.com (any software downloaded from this third party website is not guaranteed by Betts Kids and users do so at their own risk).


Selecting Products

Below we have listed a few pointers on how to add products to your ‘Shopping Cart’ and continue onto the ‘Checkout’ of our online store, just like in a normal store!

To find a shoe category, please use the menu selections at the top of the homepage to browse our range.
Once you are shown a selection of shoes click on the thumbnail image (small image) of the item you wish to see more information on.
You will then be taken to the item's description page, which displays the size and colours of the style available in our online store. These will be shown as coloured boxes.
  
If our online store is sold out, it will inform you if the shoe is still available in one of our physical retail stores by showing that size greyed out. 

From that description page, simply select your preferred colour and size and press the button ‘Add to Cart’. You will know this product has been added to you cart when you see a confrimation message.
If you are not sure about the shoe you can always add the shoe to your cart and delete it later. You will have a chance to view your cart and edit if necessary before you enter any payment details.
If you want to look at other shoes, simply press ‘back'.
Once you have finished shopping and wish to view your selections click 'View Shopping Cart', which is always at the top middle of your screen.
Now you can view what you have selected, delete items or change their quantities.
When you are happy with your selections - press 'Proceed to Checkout' which will lead you to confirm your order and move through to the payment process.

Size Guides

Guarantee your correct size with free returns!

If you are concerned about ordering the wrong size we recommend that you buy both sizes and return (for free) the incorrect size in which we will then refund your credit card for that pair. So you have nothing to lose!

Online Pricing and GST

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Occasionally, our online pricing may slightly differ from our store pricing due to special promotions or markdown stock. We aim to keep these occurrences to a minimum.

All prices shown online are only valid online at the time shown.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following credit cards via our online store - Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club.

We currently do not offer Layby, COD, Gift Vouchers or Money Order as online payment.

Gift Vouchers

Betts Kids Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed in Betts or Betts Kids stores throughout Australia. Vouchers are not an accepted form of tender in our online store.

All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen nor redeemed for cash.

Payment Security

Bettskids.com.au uses a 128 bit SSL GeoTrust certificate which ensures that confidential information and transactions cannot be intercepted, altered or viewed.

To ensure further security, Betts Kids staff members only have access to the last 4 digits of your credit card number and expiry date when you place an order online.

Only our secure merchant bank receive and process your full credit card details at any time.

Locations

We deliver our Standard and Express parcels to any Australian address including PO Boxes.
Platinum parcels can not be delivered to PO boxes.

We currently do not service international destinations.

*In the event that you have purchased a shoe which for some reason is not available in our online warehouse, we will aim to track the shoe down for you and notify you of any delays within two working days. 

Only one shipping method can be chosen per transaction. If you wish for some items to be standard and others via express, please complete two separate transactions.

Tracking

Standard and Express Parcels are able to be tracked via the Australia Post website. You will be sent a dispatch confirmation email including tracking number and instructions once your parcel leaves our warehouse. To track Platinum parcels or if you need further help please call us on 1300 MY SHOE or email us.

If your parcel hasn't arrived please also check with your local post office as it may be waiting for collection. Parcels are taken to the nearest post office if a signature cannot be obtained on delivery. 

Stock Availability

We wish to mention to our online customers that our stock levels are dynamic and change frequently, therefore some lines may only be available for a limited time for online purchase.

In the event that you have purchased a shoe which for some reason is not available in our warehouse, we will aim to track the shoe down for you and notify you of any delays within two business days.

Conditions of Delivery

We deliver our Standard and Express via Australia Post.

A signature is required on all deliveries and therefore someone must be present to accept the package. If not, Australia Post will leave a note and the package will be taken to the nearest post office for later collection by you.

For this reason we recommend, if possible, to deliver to an address that will be manned during business hours.

The delivery service company used for Platinum shipping may vary. If you do not receive a tracking email within 24 hours, please call us on 1300 ZU SHOE (98 7463) or email us. Platinum parcels can include a maximum of 2 items and can not be sent to PO boxes.


Returns Policy

All orders are entitled to a free exchange or refund. See below for full details...    

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase decision, simply return your unworn shoes in store or via reply paid shipping within 14 days after receiving the shoes and we will gladly provide you with a refund or exchange. For all online purchases, the 14 day limit only applies to the days in which the shoes were in your possession, therefore eliminating any transit time.

Returns via Reply Paid Post

If you have purchased your shoes online you can choose to return or exchange your shoes to the online store via Reply Paid post which doesn’t cost you anything. Please see your return form for instructions.

To return your shoes via reply paid to our online store, please put the filled in return form (on the back of your delivery docket) in the shoe box when sending it. We don’t need any other information for reply paid returns. We will send you a confirmation email once we received and processed your return.

If you want to exchange a pair of shoes and can’t see it being available online, please contact us online to make sure we have the desired shoe in stock.

Shipping via Reply Paid method can take up to 10 business days. Betts recommends adding Australia Post item registration on to your reply paid return parcel. Reply paid parcels do not have an article or consignment number and lost parcels can therefore not be tracked. AUS Post registration costs $2.80 and can be purchased at any AUS post outlet. The first return shipping is for free. Any additional returns will attract a $9.95 shipping fee. We will process this fee payment over the phone with you or deduct it from outstanding refunds.

When you return a pair of shoes for an exchange what happens if the price on the shoe changed by the time your exchange is being processed? If you are exchanging for a different size or colour of the same style the exchanged shoe will not attract additional charges or refunds. If however you change your mind on the style we will have to treat it as a change of mind and will refund or charge any difference in price.

Refunds generally exclude shipping cost. If for some reason our quality control team missed a manufacturing fault on your new shoes or if we can’t provide the shoe you ordered, we will gladly provide you with a full refund (incl. shipping) or free exchange. The shipping cost will not be refunded on change of mind returns. Unfortunately, Betts Online can not exchange or refund shoes that have been worn or bought in one of our physical stores.
 

Returns in store

If you have purchased your shoes online you can choose to return or exchange your shoes to any one of our stores. For exchanges please contact your local Betts Kids store to ensure it has the right shoe available.

Refunds are always performed using the method of payment. So if you choose to return the shoes in store please take your credit card with you to enable the staff member to process the return/exchange for you. You will also need a print out of your receipt which is emailed to you at the time of online purchase and your delivery docket.
